John Miller, born~1849-1917, Iresgoe, Wick and his wife Elizabeth Bain born~1853-1911, Sarclet, Wick. The family lived at 25 Macrae Street, Wick from the 1881 census onwards. John was killed in the Margaret Disaster along with his son John and 3 others, all originally from Sarclet. The fishing boat they were in, struck a mine and was blown up. John and Elizabeth are my great grandparents. JP, 14/4/2017.
